and. speak at the ISC Marketing Conference

On 5 November and. took one of the keynote sessions at the Independent Schools Council Marketing Conference 2008. The newest conference to be launched by ISC, Marketing 2008 focussed on the importance of improving and adapting marketing activity in the light of the many economic, social and technological changes faced by independent school marketers.

Topics covered included corporate rebranding, using the internet as a marketing tool, whole-school marketing and the importance of market segmentation in a recession, as well as groundbreaking, exclusive new research.

The and. session "Better Branding: A Phantom Rebrand" looked at the rebranding of an imaginary school. The session took the delegates through the footsteps of the redesign process, looking at the importance of good branding, the messages communicated by different styles, the clarity required from a client brief and how to successfully implement a rebrand online, offline and in printed media. We received many positive comments from the floor and after the event which was attended by more than 250 representatives from schools around the country.
